The Borneo Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Safety and Health or BOSH was first organised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2009. BOSH aims to continue bringing experts in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH) in the region of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippine ñ East Asia Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) as well as from overseas to share best practices and for networking. Lesson learned from the convention is hoped to further enhance the quality of work by ensuring the safety and health of everyone in the work environment.

The theme for BOSH 2020 is Global Sustainability: Strengthening OSH for All”, which in line with the global aspiration to embrace the three dimension of sustainability – economic, social and environmental. These goals that put people and planet at its centre, giving there international community a framework for tackling the many challenges confronting humanity, including those in the world of work.

Global Sustainability: Strengthening OSH for all is indeed a challenge that requires strong commitment, long –term and continuous improvement to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
