The Borneo Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Safety and Health or BOSH was first organised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2009. BOSH aims to continue bringing experts in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH) in the region of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippine – East Asia Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) as well as from overseas to share best practices and for networking. Lesson learned from the convention is hoped to further enhance the quality of work by ensuring the safety and health of everyone in the work environment.

The theme for BOSH 2017 is “Enhancing OSH for Business Competitiveness”, which is in line with the nation’s aspiration to nurture a preventive OSH culture. Enhancing OSH for business competitiveness is indeed a challenge that requires strong commitment, long-term and continuous improvement process. It involves the cultivation of constructive changes in both the behaviour and attitude of all parties, especially employers and workers.
