Seminar On OSH Best Practices : Indoor Work Environment
Published: Tue, 02/28/12

Hi ,
Please
find the information below for our upcoming seminar.
Modern buildings are generally considered safe and healthy working environments. However, the potential for indoor air quality problems, occupational illnesses and injuries, exposure to hazardous materials, and accidental falls beckons occupational safety and health practitioners to maintain buildings and processes that ensure occupant safety and health. Employees have the right to know about unsafe materials or work, how to identify and prevent workplace hazards and how to protect themselves. Employers and employees can act to improve their decision-making in ways that do not risk sacrificing health and safety at work but sometimes we may not know where to begin. Knowing exactly what you want to achieve will help keep you motivated until you get there. The seminar aims to improve the employers and employees decision-making in ways that do not risk sacrificing health and safety at work by being specific, realistic and committed.

Some buildings are occupied entirely by the employees of the building owner, and in most of these buildings, the responsibility for safety and health may be handled by a central department or office. For these reasons, tenants and management in leased space buildings will need to closely coordinate their occupational safety and health management strategies. Now is the time to act.
