BOSH 2011 (Borneo Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Safety and Health) Now With 15 CEP Points!
Published: Fri, 10/21/11
Hi ,

Protecting and saving
lives at work will always be a challenge everywhere. The transformation in the
way businesses are run, the rapid changes in work organisations and impact in
industrialisation will give rise to new risk areas but also provide
opportunities to improve work safety. Many governments and OSH related
associations are embarking on programmes and/or safety campaigns to motivate
both employers and workers to change in work attitude and to drive home the
message that improvement in work safety not only prevents accidents and saves
lives but will also create profits for the companies.
The Borneo Conference
and Exhibition Safety and Health (BOSH) will be held for the second time in
Kuching, Sarawak, from 5-6 December 2011. This highly-geared two-day conference
has been growing in importance for the OSH community in the Borneo region.
With the heightened
awareness of OSH issues in Malaysia and its counterparts, the relevance of this
conference as a regional forum for health and safety experts has never been
greater.
We would like to invite
you to participate in the conference and show your commitment towards improving
safety and health in the workplace. Accidents don't just happen. A more
proactive way is needed to tackle OSH issues effectively.
Please find attached the
conference brochure and form. You have the option to register online at www.niosh.com.my/bosh2011
